Brand Photography for Spirits Brand
My friends at the Narrative Media Group recently reached out and asked if I was interested in a creative collaboration with Redbreast Whiskey. They were in need of some branding photography. The project would include interesting people, some tasty whiskey drinks, and delicious cuisine. Naturally, I accepted.
Brand ambassador Luke Beard hosted an intimate gathering for cocktails and dinner in the wine cave at the iconic Wingtip club in San Francisco. I was invited along to tell a photo story of the evening. Images from this project have been used in social media, press release, on websites, and for marketing and advertising.
Branding Photography
What is branding photography? I’ve been getting this question a lot lately. The short answer is it’s a type of commercial photography with the goal of creating a large collection of artistic images that a brand, company, or organization can use to promote their business. One of the coolest aspects to good and effective branding photography is that it requires the ability to photograph in a variety of shooting styles. Most brand photo projects include a tasty combination of event photography, food photography, documentary style storytelling, product photography, creative portraits, editorial, and architectural photography. The end result is a collection of powerful and provocative images that the client and their partners can use across all of their own marketing and storytelling channels — social media, websites, blogs, press release, and in print marketing.
“Thanks for your great work on this project. The images are fabulous. Everyone on our team is very happy. Thanks for always rocking it!”
