In the rolling hills of the southern Sintra Mountains is Penha Longa. The resort is a few short miles from Portugal’s rugged coastline and is built around a fourteenth-century monastery. In the evenings the tapestried corridors and high ceiling rooms are awash in candlelight (see below). It was in this gorgeous setting that I recently did photo storytelling for TubeMogul’s Europe conference. As part of the adventure, we spent an evening practicing and scrimmaging on the pitch at Benfica FC’s Estadio da Luz in Lisbon. Here are a few images from their story:
