“Our theme for this summit is transforming government in the twenty-first century,” declared Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf.
She was on stage at the Oakland Civic Center speaking to a packed auditorium at the 2015 Code for America (CfA) Summit. It was a three day conference focused on using digital technology to improve government, community, and civic involvement. According to the CfA website, “The #CfASummit is a roll-up-your-sleeves conference that brings together innovators from hundreds of governments across the U.S. along with civic-minded technologists, designers, community organizers, and entrepreneurs.” It was an incredible honor to provide photo storytelling for Code for America and here are a collection of images from their story:
